Hey guys not sure if anyone is interested in playing the closed beta for Rainbow 6 Siege on PC, but i have a few extra codes they emailed me if you guys want to try it out. It ends October 4th. If I were you i would try both the zv4s and zv3s and see what sounds better since you already have them both. I would imagine the zv3s being louder though because of the space your working with and the power.

A guy at this show I went to the other day had an amm1 and was testing amps for free. I thought a few people might find this interesting, so I decided to post my results. I am wired to 1 ohm rising to 2.5 ohms at 33hz (used a test tone) at 2.5 ohms i got 2633 watts dropping to ~12.8v I LOVE THIS AMP!

I checked the wire colors on the head of the cord and pins of the bassknob/amp and it was exactly the same so it worked no problem.

Does anyone know I'f the bassknob for the sax 125.2 will work for an saz 3500v2? What would happen if you use the wrong cable or even bassknob for the amp. Because I have a brand new sax 125.2 bassknob and wire the (plain black one.... without the writing on it) I could put to use.

Sorry i am an idiot i meant to say i have a d2 version and that i am safely wired to 1 ohm and that if i had a d1 version wiried to .5 i would of been worried. but anyways specs are 4.25cubes after all displacements tuned to around 31hz with 70 inches of port area

what is the difference between the sae50.4 and sax50.4? is one just cheaper built than the other?

Does anyone on here know which versions of the amps by sundown audio (sax 125.2 and sax 50.4) are class AB i just want to make sure i know which version i am buying for sure so i wont have to do any returns. how could i tell if i have the AB version anyways?

It won't be -- we've done that before. Sales weren't there.It was too large & too expensive to generate adequate sales. Oh OK I see thanks for the reply. So is there any amps you guys are currently selling that is class ab? I may have to buy a used one from someone. I'm looking for a sundown 4 channel that has at least 120 a channel at 4 ohms.

I had my zv4 on a sq2200 and its was OK but now that it is on a 3500 boy it really shines.... doesn't get stinky at all for me and it actually moves now like it should be. I'm wired at 1ohm so I know I'm safe. If I had the d2 version to wire it at .5 then I would be a little worried. Its probably seeing close to rated wired at 1ohm anyways after rise and all that.

Not sure if this will help you out or not but i have a zv4 15 on a 3500 in the recommend box specs on sundowns website and smash 27hz to 40hz no problem. I always wanted to try out a 4th order but it just seems to be too much work for one sub. Also you have to be little but more careful with doors open with a 4th order i have a friend who tore up his zv4 in a 4th order on a 3500.

I have had my 2 sa12's on close to 2k watts for a long time and they never got smelly even full tilt for a while. I have them in a 4 cube box after all displacements tuned to 31hz and it sounds good. I would say 1000 watts a sub for a daily application.

yeah i got the big 3 done. i have one more question would i need to get a charger for the rear battery or will it charge fine from the alternator through the front battery? ill prolly just buy the xp975 then since its a little bit cheaper .
