gr8handogoatness
Not plastic. Its short enough it doesn't really matter. Aluminum if you can find it I guess. The Sundown website has a sketchup for two SA 15s.
truthsayer
Rooles, if your planning on running your power wire or any cables under the car. Use pvc pipe and run inside of it. Then secure the pipe to the frame. truthsayer
rooles
I will do that. It sounds a kot better than running a bare wire under the car.
rooles
I have begun construction of the sub box. I am concerned about the sub holes. I am not really sure how to make them perfect. Also should i just seal the inside edges with bathroom silicone caulk?
gr8handogoatness
I would use a decent amount of wood glue and that will seal the seams and hold it together. A router and a jig is the easiest way to cut a hole for the subs. You can also use a jig saw. But a jig saw will be a little bit sloppy. Even if you are really good. Router and jasper jig is my favorite way to cut holes.

SnowDrifter
Oh yeah two more things It is possible to get wires into the amp without any pubes sticking out. Make take a few tries but it's doable. Remember: even one strand is a potential hazard for shorting out And not everything needs to be torqued to 1049lbs. Snug works for most things. Too tight and they strip, too loose and the connection sucks ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
