mid's and high's problem

vw passat

Recommended Posts

they don't turn off the crossovers on my alpine hu I need to give separate frequency for the tweeters and frequency for the mids . right now they are 125hz with 12db slope from hu and 80hz from the amp on hpf. from were I can buy this passive crossover? or is it a good think that I make them directly to the amp? sorry for many questions but im confused

yes finkster like that. but the problem is that from the hu I cannot turn off the hpf cause there is no option to turn it off only the slope I can leave it at flat but there is 31.5hz 50hz 60hz 80hz 100hz 125hz 160hz and 200hz. on wich one im going to leave it on my hu to make 80hz on my amp? thanks guys

I can't believe an Alpine unit wouldn't allow you to turn off the X-over. Is there an option to turn the subwoofer off? That should turn the X-over off and send a full-range signal to your amp.
