JEFFYBOI
Got a few deep scratches. Painting is not something im good at so I need some help here. I was thinking of cleaning the area very well and using touch up paint with a small brush to fill in the scratch and let it dry and then take like some rubbing compound and then buff the area around the scratches... I would like any feedback from people who have personally repaired scratches and got great results. thanks "Toyota Camry rebuild page 21 (link)http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183768-94-crossfire-camry-18s-walled-singer-alt-has-arrived-rebuild-starts-pg-10/page-21 PIONEER DEH-P8400BH 2 CROSSFIRE C5 1700D 2 CROSSFIRE C7 18 HOOD. hdorre
I use Dr Colorchip for my wing.. but it wasnt a deep or wide scratch.. just long. You need to REALLY look for it to see it. Just need to find someone who had dealt with deep scratch repair and see how they did it. Im not expecting it to be perfect and non noticeable but I want it to look the best I can. hdorre
If your scratch is that deep.. You're gonna want more than paint. jmillsner
i too use dr color chip. if your car is metallic, be very careful which direction you apply the paint, because if the angle of the metallic flake is different than the rest of the car, it will be highly noticeable
