Help me equip my 85 Monte Carlo SS

1985 Chevy Monte Carlo SS

Goal: Bass pressure loud enough to blow out a candle in the cabin...or something close to that. Mids/Highs that are loud and clear enough to not be faded out by the bass. My hearing is not good enough to appreciate the value of high-end speakers/amps (let's think Hertz), but it is good enough to hear the difference between a poorly encoded mp3 and a retail cd.

What I have:

Headunit - KDC-X598

Tablet - Galaxy Tab 3 8.0

EQ - Clarion ES746

Subwoofer - SoundQubed HDS312

Subwoofer Amp - Hifonics BXI2008D

Front Components - polk db6501 (current in my magnum) to be installed in Q-logic kickpanels in the monte

What I need (budget in parenthesis):

Alternator ($400)

Two batteries (front+back)

6x9 @ 100w RMS each (up to $150)

Sound Deadening

Big 3

4 ch. amplifier that puts out at least 100w RMS @ 4ohm per ch. (up to $250)

I'd like to get a Hifonics 4ch amp just because it'll look more uniform, if not, I might as well replace both amps.

Enclosure wise, I'm just going to go basic ported, nothing even built to spec. Later on this summer, I plan on have a box built to form in the trunk with the backside in plexi so the rear of the subs show. False panels in the trunk with two windows in the floor that show the amps. That's about it.

I think that's it. Depending on how I do my door panels, I may add another set up of speakers in the door. If you can think of anything else that can help me achieve my goals, feel free to let me know.
