FknCrawler
It was hard getting the shape for the pocket because the door panel doesn't lay flat without flexing the door panel. 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback K24a2 Swap
JNells
There ya go, looks like you're getting the hang of it. Gonna need 3-4 more layers of Mat and you'll be good to go. In my opinion the base mold is the hardest part of the whole process My only suggestion is to cover up the cloth part of your door panel (with tape, plastic, tinfoil etc) ... It'll be almost impossible to get out if resin gets on it. Malibu Build Log
FknCrawler
Thanks! I had to covered as I was laying down the resin but It ended up getting ripped so I took it off after I finished up. This uv resin makes the work much easier. 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback K24a2 Swap
FknCrawler
Haven't done squat.... My job is killing my motivation. Did get around to making two tweet speaker rings and two 6.5 speaker rings, need two more to be done. Not an easy task with only a drill, jigsaw, and sanding by hand, and 95+ heat. Gonna try to add more layers to the door panel for strength then glue these rings and stretch the fleece. 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback K24a2 Swap
