Mike Gibbens Matthew
Not 100% sure what a-weighted is. Can someone explain to me what it is or at least what is a good rating? Specifically, are these OK for a sub amp? TaylorFade
Weighted means the different components are assigned a value according to their importance to the measurement. Something more important has a larger impact on the result. Sorta like a final exam counting for a larger portion of your grade than a pop quiz. The "a" part means it's an average. Signal to noise is pretty a self explanitory stat. It's the ratio of good shit (signal) to unwanted shit (noise). 100db means that the signal is 100db louder than the noise.
