CJL
Instead of buying a active xover for a 2-way setup, could i just run my mids off the 1-2 channel of my 4ch amp and use the amps's xover for them and buy a pair of tweeters that come with their own passive xover and run them of the 3-4 channel of my amp? ....I guess it wouldnt really be an actice setup then,Sorry Im a NoOb when it comes to mid/highs :'(

Guest MegaloManiac
it depends on what kinda amp you have, i know on my avionixx440.4 it wont crossover past 200hz, rven then it doesnt sound good at all, unless you have an active crossover to go with it. with my memphis crossover i set all my settings, i have the front channel on my amp on full as well as the rear channel(tweets)
dleccord
if you dont want to grab an active xover unit, you can buy a deck that comes with one. refs: chode69, superduper
