flared slot port

Hey guys for my next box I am thinking of doing a flared slot but I am unsure of how much of the flare acts as port length is it the same as an aero where it is half of the flare?

Kerfing is not an easy job if that's what you are wanting to do, sure you are attempting this? And yes the effective length is similar to flared aeros (half the radius does not belong to the port airspace).

I was thinking just angled cuts to create the flare
