Im looking to put my 15'' eclipse sub into the truck but im gonna need a new box. im looking for any ideas or pictures of builds anyone has seen or worked on? I still want someone to be able to sit in back so i'd like to try to keep the box to half the backseat. any suggestions to help me decide ported or sealed too. 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
duct_tape123 Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 If I remember right the lower half of the seat separates from the back. Build the box w/ sub down firing, there will be limited legroom. Take the box to an interior guy to get a cushion for the top. I did that in a 2001 F-150 w/ a pair of CVR 12's sealed and it was insanely loud.
