Have 2 subs but they move opposite of eachother

that ground is not good at all.. fix it

its not the reason why your subs are out of phase but looks like you have more issues than one

should i unscrew it and steel wool it more?

Subs - Dual RE Audio SXX v2 15D4 wired at 1 ohm

Door Speakers - RE REX 5x7/6x9

Battery - Kinetik HC 2000

Sub Amp - Crescendo BC2000

Door Amp - Alpine MRP-F300
Head Unit - Pioneer DEH-X8600BS

Yes, bare metal in contact with the ENTIRE lug.

I am 60 miles north of this guy. have a dd-1, and a MM and you guys have seen my build so you know i am not stupid.

If he wants to meet half way I can try to help him out no prob. Just give me heads up here tomorrow and let me know what you want to do. I can't guarantee i can be somewhere at the drop of a hat. But my schedule is pretty clear tomorrow.

you need to bolt it down not screw it on.. try and find a more solid spot and bolt it.. try and wiggle it and you will see it will move around. could be the reason your amp was hot to the touch

you said you have a multimeter now, so before you make a trip up here, check each coil using them "ohm" setting. see if they are all they same.

With them unhooked of course.

edit:

it may look like a horseshoe on your meter.

alright ill go and check now hopefully it gives somewhat of a accurate reading

they are both around 4 ohms on both sides
