Foamyy Thee Squirrell Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 Is there any type of wood that is off limits for building a sub box? I was really wanting to do it with Cherry plywood but I don't know if there is a such thing as "off limits" when it comes to wood.

As for cherry plywood, as long as it is good quality like 13+ layers and cabinet grade it should be fine.
