randyman78596 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 just ordered a threatcon 2 15" and want to build a 4 cubic foot box at 35 hz..lookin to do sub up port back in a 2006 explorer with second row seating, i would use torres calculator but im running a linux OS. would like some box help, thanks

(well i do, but that isn't my point) Get an O-scope in the very minimum and learn how to use it or you are just guessing your settings like every other noob. once you master the O-scope then step up to a DD-1 or even better a DD-1 Plus.

Aj11 Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 4ft net or gross? i know most people imply netI'm just making sure. but 4ft net with enough port and a low'ish tune would be great for that sub. id tune somewhere between 30-33hz think you will be surprised by the output you get from that sub. jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
