Opinions on a power bass asa800.2 amp

I have a 4 channel amp for my highs but I was looking at getting another hi amp to push some extra mids and I was at the swap meet today and came across a power bass asa800.2 I asked how much she wanted for it they said 100 dollars. I looked it up and I see its rated

200w x 2ch @ 4 ohms and 400w x 2ch @ 2ohms. That seems like enough power to push 4 extra mids to me. Maybe get a 4 pwx mids 4ohms and run a pair in parallel to each channel. And I also heard a power bass sub in some guys honda that hits pretty hard . But do you think this amp does rated. Btw I'm not planning on buying it from the swap meet I'd buy it new online.

curious myself i was going to post a similar question about the crunch dra1850... seems like you gotta put out major daddy war bucks for an amp that can put out some real power for your mids/highs

Exactly..but im not trying to drop 500 on a amp for mids/highs..I already gotta drop 1100 just to get enough watts for the substage I want to run...id rather have alot of underpowered mids and highs than underpower my subs. Hopefully someone knows about this amp and can shed some light on it for me..in case you all are wondering I would run a memphis 6ix off of the speaker outs of the hu and y-spit the rcas in order to get enough rca outputs for these amps ..im not trying to use the rca outs on the hu because I have limited space behind it and I know over time the rcas would get damaged..if its not that they get ruined right when I install them
