Austin EightBit Adams Posted May 14, 2014 Author Report Posted May 14, 2014 Does that one support switchable rear output for Subwoofers? If so, I may be sold (never was the biggest clarion fan, but if the reviews are solid why not give it a shot)
boom50cal Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Well it has an independent subwoofer control, so I would assume so. Personal testimony on clarion... 3 years ago I ordered a CZ501 for my previous truck because it had 3 sets of 4v pre-outs, bluetooth, and front USB/aux. Sold the truck, left the HU in. Got a different vehicle, used a Pioneer AVH-P4400BH double din that had a shit load more features but shared 3 sets of 4v preouts and bluetooth. Ended up ditching the 4400 and bought a used CZ501 on eBay. LOVE the 501. Built in low/high pass filters, super easy and indepth EQ, built in sub level control, great bluetooth connectivity, and it sounds a TON better than the 4400 did. The USB menu is easy to navigate with, and it can import my contacts. Never had an issue with the BT autoconnect either. Austin EightBit Adams Posted May 14, 2014 Author Report Posted May 14, 2014 Ok, SonicElectronix Says it DOES fit, Crutchfield is saying it DOESNT fit... (CZ302)

The clarion's sound quality is way superior. Not dogging pioneer, but I'll take the clarion over it any day. And more and more people i meet after hearing mine have also made the switch to clarion. Austin EightBit Adams Posted May 14, 2014 Author Report Posted May 14, 2014 so should i take the chance and HOPE it fits, or what, i dunno which site to believe....
truthsayer Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 If your car has a single din opening, then it will fit. truthsayer
Austin EightBit Adams Posted May 14, 2014 Author Report Posted May 14, 2014 so you dont think there will be an issue with depth or anything, why would crutchfield say it doesnt fit... (just wanna cover all my bases before i pull the trigger)
truthsayer Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Sometimes some sites say they fit and dont fit. Just what it is. Buy it from Amazon, and if for some odd reason it doesnt fit, you can return it. But you should be ok with the fit. truthsayer
