TRON
Here we go: Not going to bother with listing what was in last summer so I'll just start with what is in the truck. Kenwood head unit Alpine SPS-610Cs 2 XS d3400s 2 Mechman 270s and a bunch of Sky High wire. I'm going to build a new enclosure for the two X-18s, rig up some door panels, get a DC 90.4 and, and lay down some deadener. Typical stuff here. EDIT: I was going to go with some Sundown Neopros but the budget is maxed for now so I'm going to use some Alpine Type S components that are lying around. And Go: Stuff lying around the house: Recognizable? I did take the stickers off though... There's lost more stuff than that but I'm not going to upload pictures of ring terminals for shits sake. Here's what little bit I did yesterday, all the doors. and ran some new speaker wire. There...up to date. TRON
Today: I'll rip up the carpet and headline and get the rest of the cabin covered with dynamat. And maybe run some 1/0 and RCAs...we'll see. TRON
Yesterdays progress. I saw surprised how dirty it was under there. Both runs fit though the main firewall grommet which works for me. Saves having to drill holes. How do you get those big Sky High lugs to fit in their fuse blocks with out trimming the plastic cover? You don't even need extra hardware, just rearrange the washers and nuts. So not much work done but that took pretty much 8 hours. I may have hooked up the 3.5k to some things laying around. A man can only go so long without bass. TRON
Fast forward to Yesterday. I was going to do some Sundown Neo 8s and 6.5s but right now my budget is maxed out because I'm also working on my vintage mini bike, my work space in the basement, and putting gas in my truck. So I'm going to go with two sets of Alpine Type S components. They are excellent speakers and I just so happen to have two sets lying around. Scored a full set of door panels for $100 which is pretty good considering GM sells them for about $190 a peice What a blurry picture. Not totally sure of the layout, I love having my tweeters up on the A pillars but I'm considering trying them down on the doors. Whatever. Started the false floor. I realized that this need to be done before I can even try to fit the enclosure. Probably going to just cover it in black carpet. Perfect round corner drawing there, looks like a 4 year old drew that. It fits!...she said. Now lets make it pretty At this point I had been up for almost 20 hours because just came off night shift and I stay up all day to get back into the day shift routine so I stopped. Today I'll finish off the false floor and maybe do some work on the enclosure. HeavyOne
Following this. Been wanting to trade the Ram in for an Avi for a while now. Just found one locally. Debating doing what you're doing or using up the bed and doing a 4th. Look forward to seeing how it turns out.

TRON
Baaah, yesterday and today's progress isn't much but its a vital piece. Of course I ran out of contact cement on the first half. So I cut up some tweeter rings to end the day. TRON
And today. The seam isn't the greatest but it will be hardly noticeable inside the vehicle. Quick little ground block for the mids and highs amplifier...not the best spot but it will work. In and looking good. Still waiting for some longer RCAs and more speaker wire to come in on Wednesday so I'll get the amplifiers in later. So in the mean time I'll finish up the enclosure. When the back is done I'll start up the front.
