Good Trade?

Today we traded in our 03 Ranger Edge for a 03 Durango. For the past couple months the Ranger has been nothing but a problem, which to me was weird. I've owned a few Fords and they was nothing but dependable, but this one was not. Ended up with no compression in cylinder #5. The place we got it from agreed to take it back and put us in something else. Originally we was going with a 02 F-150, but it needed too much work. We ended up with a Durango. Honestly I like it better than the F-150. The Durango so far is nice. 149k miles on it, 318 V8, power everything, flip down screen in the rear (may never use it), tow package, lots of other goodies. The only draw back is the speakers sound like complete crap. I was doing something earlier and had the radio going. The speakers were distorting with country music playing at a low level. The Ranger had a 3.0 V6, 155K miles on it, had to have the trans replaced. Now the engine needing a new exhaust valve spring. The place we got the Ranger and Durango from is going to part out the Ranger then scrap the rest. Kind of sad the Ranger can be fixed. It would be labor intensive, but would still be a good truck. I think we did good with the trade so far. The ball joint on one side needs to be replaced and new windshield, but the dealer is flippin the bill for that work.
