question!!! when dealing with a series tuned 6th order...what will happen if the rear chamber has more port area then the front chamber??? OR does port velocity on the rear chamber not matter because it is firing into the front chamber?

if no one can help does anyone know anybody that i could possibly message and get some info from?

Why would you want more port area on your lower tuned chamber? Tell us more about what you are thinking...low tuned rear ports start to get really long really fast if you havealot of port area

Well I got a type r 12 just sitting in my garage....picked it up for 40$ and will probably never use it lol and I have been wanting to experiment with a 6th order for a while so I got a design in mind using winisd. 3 cubes on rear chamber and 1 cube on the front chamber. I read that with series tuned 6th orders you want like 8-10 sqin of port area for the rear chamber so there is more cone control...and 18-22 on the front chamber. So if those are accurate I was thinking one 6 inch aero flared on both ends for the rear chamber. And another 6 inch aero for the front chamber. Rear would be tuned to 29 and front at 70.

The crappy part is winisd only models a parallel tuned 6th....not a series tuned 6th. But reguardless a 3 cube chamber at 29hz with one 6 inch aero makes the port velocity go thru the roof!!! But since it's a series 6th....with the rear chamber during into the front chamber...would that kind of port velocity even matter especially since the velocity of the front chamber is wayyy low
