alaskanzx5 Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 Depends, what are you wiring to and what are the rms ratings of the speakers? I ran a pair of Rockford punch pro 6.5 and punch pro tweet in each door on a t400-4 and it powered them perfectly. Now if the tweets are rated for 75watts rms but you can only wire them to 8 ohms and only giving them 30-50watts but the mids can be wired to 2ohms and they are getting 100watts a each they might be overpowering the tweets. Adjust the deck could help balancing it out though. Only installing it will tell you if it is giving you what you want. since you have it all already what I would do is hook it up and rum it for a few weeks. Make the tweaks and adjustments to get it to what you want or as close as possible to what you want. If after a few weeks/months you can't get it adjusted to your liking figure out where its falling short and ho from there. If the speakers can handle more power and you feel like more power will help buy a bigger amp. If you feel like you need a better midbass response try and find a midbass speaker that cab potentially give you the better sound or more output you want. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
