re destroyer box

Recommended Posts

k so im getting ready to build another box for my destroyers ill be inverting them due to how much displacement they take up this is what ive come up with on torres and ive drawn it on paint to make sure my understanding is correct of how tores layout is

tantric recomended 2-2.5 cubes tuned to 30s per woofer so thats what ive done here

and here is my draw up on paint. i didnt include dementions cause its just a really really rough draft but im trying to understand how to do my 3 baffles in paint i made them flush with the outside but im not sure if thats how its done in torres or not.

the 3 diff colors represent the 3 baffles the silver is my full thread rod bracing and the middle is a wood bracing.

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

I would do one baffle the height and width of the interior then add one the height and width of the exterior. If you really want 3 just add one on the last. As far as bracing I would just use wooden dowel. Less holes to seal up.
