I think I had a "oh shit" moment with my new amp

I reversed the polarity on a RF P200.2 on my test bench one time with a 30a 12v psu and it didn't blow. The fuse didn't even pop, the power wires got hot though (sky high 14 awg)

Good thing about a PSU is that it will not kick on if you have it hooked up backwards. Did it a few times and it did not come on, was like oh shit then I noticed it was hooked up backwards. Now the bad thing about a PSU is that the 12v rail only runs at 11.2 or so.

Edit, at least mine does not.

It was less than a foot long, 14 gauge would've been fine.
