Alex1234 Posted June 22, 2014 Report Posted June 22, 2014 I got two 2x1 ohms subwoofers wired together in 1ohm and i got one monoblock thats gives out 3500 at 1ohm but the subs screams for more power, so i was thinking of adding another one of the same amplifier and strapp them thogther that will give 7000 in 2ohms. but i can only wire the two subwoofers toghether in 1or 4 ohms so how would i make that work?
Ahmed Johnson Posted June 22, 2014 Report Posted June 22, 2014 Strapping isn't the best idea with your current subs. You can run them to each amp individually at 1 ohm. Or risk running your amps strapped at 1 ohm

REH Posted June 22, 2014 Report Posted June 22, 2014 What speakers and subs do you have? Do you have a real 3.5k amp that you're unsatisfied with, or do you have a Boss "3.5k". Do you have the electrical to support 7k, or even a real 3.5k? Your post is so vague.

Regardless if it's a boss or not, the load he wants to aim for with strapped amps won't happen with the subs he got. He doesn't need to list his equipment to get his question answered. He's not asking what power the amp is making.

Your post is so vague. the wattage is real wattage:) and yes my electrical is good for 3.5k rearly below 13,9v on full so i think 1 more battery and it can handle 7k
