Juan Garza Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 Hello smd, this is my first post been lurking on here for a while now and came across LOTS of useful info, any who in January I purchased my first "big" system, all soundqubed yes I became a sq nuthugger Mechman 270 Q1 3500d Q4 120.4 SQ components (2 sets) SQ hdc3 15's 2 Originally I paid a coworker to do my install because I have work and school to worry about and didn't have the sufficient time to do it on my own needless to say I wasn't happy how I got my truck back I will try to get as many pictures of the old install that I can find, not the best to look at bit now with school over with I have time to rebuild my vehicle MY way Box was stained with a brush :/ looked too ugly couldnt stand looking at it in my mirror, and that little "box" was just thrown in there with the wires running over the seat, Dont worry truck has been cleaned a d vaccumed since then The rebuild will consist of painting the box black with plastidip cleaning up wire under the hood and where my amps are Add my 2nd battery into toolbox with my own bussbars Make a nice amp rack

Juan Garza Posted July 7, 2014 Author Report Posted July 7, 2014 Got some work done last night nothing fancy but working as fast as I can with the little time I have Clean slate for my amp racks I need more ideas where to mount my 4 CH. Had this piece of birch laying around rough cut with jigsaw for fitting I like this idea slanted a bit might buy a half sheet to put the 4ch slanted like that parallel to it This idea too was tossed around but I like the slanted idea a bit more
Juan Garza Posted July 8, 2014 Author Report Posted July 8, 2014 Well I'm bummed out I had a crescendo battery fail on me a while back and I got on the phone today with crescendo to see about a replacement but I bought battery from SSA sooo, crescendo tells me that they won't warranty my battery because they didn't sell it to me. Well ok let me call SSA well they weren't too helpful either, since it is a "manufacturer" defect I need to contact crescendo, well I got on the phone again and gave me the run around :/ wasn't happy by how this was handled buy that's life. More pics up got sub's in and sub amp wired.
