soundstream15 Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 I been using my phone a lot for music since it has everything I need, I played my phone thru aux on my head unit and its not loud at all. So I tried my charger going thru USB kinda like iphones, well it doesn't play music. Is their a way for it to do so?
gally Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 yes it is...when it comes to pick up what to do...if you select the option for a storage device it should work if you have other OPTIONs dont click any one of those...should work 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
soundstream15 Posted July 13, 2014 Author Report Posted July 13, 2014 Well I found the aux output sorce, it was on low. For alpines it's called aux gain. So I turned it on high. Much better
gally Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 i never liked alpines Aux...it sounds odd....at least on the older HU 2013 and older 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
soundstream15 Posted July 13, 2014 Author Report Posted July 13, 2014 I didn't know it had a gain for the aux, bc cds and usb are louder but I see why. I'll try it out and see how it is, if it's odd then I'll go use the USB
gally Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 i mean odd...for example...if you play trough aux and you have the sub turned up it sounds like for a couple of moments, like the song vanishes...it cuts off...but still plays.. 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
soundstream15 Posted July 13, 2014 Author Report Posted July 13, 2014 That is odd... I'll check it out
