sim0nkpc
got a local car installer advise to add a bass enhancer to juice up the pre out voltage. can someone please advise whether this would help to match the gain of the amp?
truthsayer
The gain on the amp will match the 2volt pre out of the HU. Make sure sub is not wired to 8 ohms. Make sure sub out on HU is turned on. Check the sub level on HU. Have you done the big 3 wire upgrade in your vehicle? Use 0 gauge on your amp instead of the 2 gauge. truthsayer
Jhunt94
^like he said the amp will match the 2v pre outs from the HU. My headunit only has 2v pre outs and it does fine. Check all your connections, make sure that the power and ground are not loose. You really need to make sure that the low pass filter and the subsonic filter are set right. If you had the low pass too low and the subsonic too high then barely any frequencies would be getting through. 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Cab.
