subwoofer amp volume issue

Hello guys! today i installed my sub and amp.the problem is i have properly connect my sub and amp and set the gain withe the DMM but the sound of the sub is way to low.even at max gain it barely sounds.i tested the sub with another amp i have in my car and works fine.

Identify. Isolate. Eliminate.

If the sub played reasonably on a different amp, then the issue is associated with the original amp. Having said that, it doesn't necessarily mean the amp is bad. There could be some settings on the original amp that are incorrect, the wiring to the amp/sub could be incorrect, or maybe the amp is just bad after all.

i tested the whole system with different amp and it worked so there is something with the amp.although the gain is set to max stil when play a test tone the output voltage is low so the sub doesnt get enough power. (the lp is set at about 80 hz , subsonic filter on and no bass boost, there arent any other settings available) . Today i checked the fuses and seem good.but i notice that even with one fuse (the amp has two in total) the amp works .then remove the other one and insert the first one and still works. in both tests the output was the same.it seem like only the half of the amp works and produces doing the voltage calculations at about 140 watts instead of 290
