hello guys , i have a question about wiring. i have 5 2150 + 1 d3400 and a singer alt 250amp. 3 runs of pos and negative. i have 2 bc3500 and im not sure if i should wire them at .5ohm ea or 1 ohm. i will have 4 15" but im not always listening to music loud. i love to give demos to people. would it be better to run them parallel, parallel to 1 amp for a .5ohm load (2 subs out of 4) and same with the other 2 subs. or should i wire them series/parallel for a 1ohm load? i know that parallel, parallel is better then series parallel but would it affect that bad? subs will be crossfire c7 15"s .

will my electrical be able to support .5ohm on ea amp (crescendo bc3500) and does impedance rise affect alot when playing daily? i know that the amplifier will never see the .5ohm with rise .

that's a long standing debate. half say "don't run below the minimum independence" while others say "hell yea go for it" your alt can't handle both those Amps @.5 but you do have a decent size battery bank. but the bank is only good for so long.

if 90% of the time your not full tilt and just Jam out to your radio. only really crank it for demos then i say run at .5

if your like me and play full tilt almost everywhere you go then stay at 1ohm.

ok thank you . and no i do not listen to it all the time at full tilt. i prefer giving demos to people . normally i play half of the max volume. i have to say that i have 8 pwx 6.5 and 4 ft1. amps are 1 audio system 300.2 to the mids and 1 aq 120x4 at 8ohm to highs.
