Arliss Walker Posted July 21, 2014 Report Posted July 21, 2014 I got a horrible ground noise. All my amps a brand new. I running o gauge power and ground wire. Stinger 6000 RCA cables. JVC double din DVD head unit. The Amps are SPL 1800 4 channels on my mids and highs " running 2 of them" and a BRX 2400.1d on two kicker 15's. In a 07 MC SS. Also I have a red top in the trunk. The shop I had install the system told me it was the RCA so I upgraded to the stingers, noise still there. They then told me it was the amps. I went to the shop where I brought the amps from and the told me to go to the install shop and have them checked out. I went and they said it was my Deck. Now I'm getting the run around and I just want the noise gone. I'm not trying to spend more money when everything is already ready brand new. WHAT to DO. The noise is driving me crazy. I buddy of mine has a old Alpine 4 channel that he says is a 1000 watts. I have never seen one before and said to switch it out and see what it does and plays like. What amp is he talking about. And when I was running 1 SPL I had no noise just not enough power to run mids and highs. I have 4 6" Mmatts pro audio and 4 8" Mmatts pro audio with 6 selenium ST200 super tweeters.
