Would the XP950 be too small for my 2004 Tahoe? I can't find anything for my question anywhere so I thought I'd try on here.

For under the hood or what?

iirc the XP series batteries are not meant for starting batteries under the hood due to heat related issues and are meant to be used as supplemental battery.

You would want to look at the D series, and your best bet would be a d3400 which fits the factory location perfect iirc.

You could also use a S series battery too which is almost identical to the D series.
