philrab
Any way you can increase that 31 inches in front? There looks like there might be more than that between the wheel wells there. Then maybe one port on the front like this? I would like to but unfortunately if the hieght or width of the box are increased, I will not be able to fit it in the trunk. It would have to be built into the trunk and I would have no way of taking it out of the trunk...or for that matter getting the subs into the trunk into the box... unless someone knows some ingenious desgn has anyone here tried creating a dettachable/interchangable external port? this could be a solution.. Here's an idea: what about an external slot port? Build a flange onto the top of the enclosure, and build the external port, then once you have the box in place slide the port in over the top of the box and bolt it on with some threaded inserts into the wood. That, and a good line of silicone may seal it, I'd hesitate to use wood glue cause you'd have to break some shit to ever get it out. Is that making any sense, or do you need a visual? 2015 Toyota Tacoma Build Thread 2007 Mazda 3; 5000K HID's, Kenwood Excelon KDC-X997, Infinity Reference 6.5 comps in front and coaxials in the rear doors, JL 320.4 four channel, Rab Designs built ported enclosure with an SA12, Kenwood monoblock, Redline Leater shift boot/e-brake boot/center console cover, JBR short shifter/shifter bushings/rear motor mount.
