sim0nkpc Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Hi all, This is what happened: Some loose strands of Pos wires touches the Ground and caused a spark, (power is connected to LC6), I didn't have inline fuse as suggested so now the LC6 does not turn on. does that mean is fried, burnt blown capacitor or whatever? Can it be fixed? or my luck is out and need to find a replacement? your inputs are very much appreciated! Simon
AudioControlMT Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 Hello Simon - According to our engineer, the repair on the LC6i is likely fairly simple, i.e., replacing a diode. If you would like to send the LC6i in for repair, let me know and I will assist you. Kind regards, Dan [email protected] 22410 70th Ave West Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043 USA P. (425) 775-8461 F. SIDE SHOW Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 open the lc6i up and check for any glass fuses that may be blown.
