zZZzzzSnooze Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 Will it work? 4 Subs with a dual 2-Ohm to final 2-Ohm Load. It gets a little confusing, 2 DVC 2-Ohm subs wired in parallel & those parallel wired subs in a series wired configuration.

Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.

Each sub is wired as 1 ohm, then each pair of subs is in parallel (making each pair 0.5 ohms), then the 2 pairs are in series making the final load 1 ohm (0.5+0.5). Or as you stated - (4) 2 ohm coils in parallel + (4) 2 ohm coils in parallel = 0.5 + 0.5 = 1 ohm.
