AGame615 Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 I recently caught a good deal on this amp 100 bucks looks brand new..regardless I know it is 1 and. 5 ohm stable but are they 2 ohm or 4 ohm stable as well and if so. What are the power ratings at those impedance? Also any input on how the amps hold up would be appreciated
LemonyGuy Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Can't say much other than, if its .5 ohm stable then its 2,4, 30 ohm stable. If its stable at .5 ohms, its stable at anything above .5 ohms.

My guess is rated 1k@2ohms and 500@4ohms. then take off 20% because they're typically overrated. But that's a conservative guess. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

I downloaded and printed a Copy of the owners manual as soon as I got it and noticed nowhere was it posted online either.. as far as over rated yes Soundstream amps tend to be have not clamped it yet but the guts look good and I'd say it does pretty close to rated. Eh still a hundred bucks for 2k plus watts couldn't pass that up! Hopefully someone knows pretty close to what puts out at the other impedance good to know even if it. Is never used

bigirb2002 Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 before i got taramps hd800 i had a dtr3400 and did a 145 on music sealed with 1 dtr 3400 and 4 12`s on a small box with 54 square inches of port. nice amp i paid 6 for mine.
AGame615 Posted August 11, 2014 Author Report Posted August 11, 2014 Very nice score... what 12s were you running? this amp is about to be hooked up to a single Memphis mojo 5 12. until I get the second, just finished the box for it today.. well 10 minutes ago didn't install of course letting everything dry. But the install is in a regular cab 2012 ram 1500 box is 4.682 feet cubed a tad bit over 4 cubes after displacement tuned to 30 Hz may tune a lil higher using changeable round ports
AGame615 Posted August 20, 2014 Author Report Posted August 20, 2014 Well I finally built the box for my Memphis mojo 12 and installed the dtr-3400 wired @2 ohms..as we all know it isn't known what the rms is for a 2 ohm load but I can say it has to put out atleast 1200 or a little more.. just guessing by the way, I'm comparing it to the 1200 rms that the brz 1700.1d sent at a 2 ohm load..needless to say it is pounding the hell out of the mojo, and at a low tuning it is moving a ton of air and all in all I'm very very pleased with this amp. Especially considering the deal I got on it
