So it, usually, sits at 2V or less? So it, usually, sits at 2V or less? i dont know what the preout voltage is at X volume for a headunit. if you're worried about gains, buy or find somebody with an oscilloscope or dd-1. Aj11 Posted August 14, 2014 Report Share Posted August 14, 2014 a dd1 is really your only hope Man. but at clean power your sub should take that amp all day! i had a boy with that exact sub on a 2000w rf amp. i told him it was way (way) to much but that sub took it for a year. he traded it and last i knew it was on a 1500w sound stream still going jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
