3sixty.3 setup question

Recommended Posts

Ok I am getting ready to start a build on a 2013 Dodge Dart. I am keeping the factory head unit, I want to keep factory navigation and steering wheel controls plus all my climate is controlled from my touch screen. I am going to tap into the speaker wires from the factory radio to the 3sixty3. My question is if I just use the front left and right to the 3sixty.3 will I be able to send a signal out to my amps to mid bass, tweeter and sub with just those inputs? It would be like this:

On the 4 channel amp from the 3sixty.3 I would like to use 2 channels for my mids and 2 channels for my tweets and then from the 3sixty.3 to my mono amp for my sub. Would this work? I am leaving the rear speakers on just the factory power.

Thanks

You won't be able to hear the rear... cause the fronts should definitely overpower. Plus idk of any or many tweets that can handle a full channel's power. But yeah. You would leave the rear speakers connected how they're connected and connect the rest to the 360. So you should know which wire is what. Forget what exactly the 360 will do, but it'll be fine.

In short, leave the rear speakers connected and connect the rest to the 360. So the 360 should NOT have the rear speakers wires.

edit- And also, you'll be able to use the EQ and all to send the tweet signal to the tweets and mid signal to the mids... so that's not an issue. But, I'd recommend hooking them all up to the 360. Not sure what amp or tweets but that sounds like a baaaad time for those tweets to have their own separate channel....
