jmfrb1
Hello, im currently having trouble designing a box for a threatcon 2 12. If anyone could give me a box design I would greatly appreciate it! My max dims are 18 high. 20" wide. And 15 deep.I am running it around 800wrms and am trying to tune it to 32-33hz. And if a PVC port design is easier if love to go that route. I have a shit ton of 4, 6 and 8" pvc

Ritch40
looking at your dimensions and subtracting 1.5" off of each number to account for .75" wood thickness you really only have room to run those sealed. by the time you factor in the wood displacement on a basic shell of a box and then subtract another .32cuft to account for woofer displacement your at 2.064 cuft net. by the time you try and get a port in there your going to lose even more box volume. id suggest either doing 1 ported or 2 sealed. Joe X
A little better title: box for a 12" threatcon-2 Anyways, your box would need to be wider if you want to use round ports and you should have the space, port sideways, sub firing up or back. Likely 2 4" ports will work.
jmfrb1
I could stretch to 35 wide after I rearrange my amps. Don't mind part of the port being partially external either if it is side firing.
