If it has a low voltage protect circuit then it will. Some amps do some dont. I personally would say it's probably the amp being cheap product that isn't worth the money. Lanzar is about along the lines of Pyle and pyramid and what ever other cheap shit you can find on amazon or ebay, in my opinion.

I second this...turn the gain down, wire the sub to what the amp is rated for....I doubt that lanzar uses that technology...but we need more info on how he has everything wired

if you have long enough DMM leads, check the resistance between your ground point, and the negative post on the battery. You're ground could have a weak electrical connection to the true car frame, like a spot weld.

Cables and wires almost never fail; the terminations do.
