drmcgills Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 I got a 15" Super Pro Subwoofer dirt cheap from my friend's brother. It has a crappy enclosure and I want to build a new one for my Blazer. I have 29"x16"x any depth to work with. I can't find any information at all on the sub anywhere. On the back of the sub it says model PMBWF4-US. No idea how many watts it is, or any T S parameters
zaxfire69 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Does it say Super Pro on the Dustcap? If so it is probably made by Pyramid. Pyramid has a Super Pro subwoofer series. Search that on Yahoo and see what you get. Pictures of said woofer would help identify it also.
drmcgills Posted March 25, 2008 Author Report Posted March 25, 2008 Yeah it says it on the dustcap, and also on the back of the magnet. I'll get pictures as soon as I can find my camera. For what its worth it looks identical to one of these from the front.
Forevrbumpn Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 yep, them pyramids I had a 12" at one time it was relativly beefy for the day and age But from what I remember they are really high Q, like .60+ a large box, and large port area would be best if I remember right I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
