Fobbe0420
I got 2 12" fi-btls dvc 2 ohm. I was wondering if the sunddown Audio NS-1 v2 can handle .5 ohm load briged, I heard people bridgeing them down to .25 ohm just wondering if its safe... Cuz 1 ohm is all they want. audiofanaticz
Sure, get yourself at least 4 XS Power D3100 batteries or something very close to those in equivalence. Get yourself a 270 to 340 amp alternator to maintain those batteries voltage. And a very stout wiring setup with multiple runs of 1/0 wire. Your looking at about $2000+ in electrical upgrades just to maintain a steady voltage with minimal voltage drop If you dont have that, be prepared to watch your amp be blown from the amount of current it demands at 1ohm, let alone running it below 1 ohm. Fobbe0420
Thanks, Right now i got a rockford fosgate 2500bd puts out around 3,000 at 1 ohm and have 1 xs power d3100 and a little xs power under the hood, so 3 battery's including the stock. I upgraded the alternator once but need to get it rewound higher or 2 of them. I did the big 3 and put a diode between alt so i get 14.5v but that's volts not amps or current, And have a rockford fosgate 10 fared cap, was gunna sell it and get a 100 fared cap. 0 gauge everything. resins was gotta re-cone 1 fi and both are at dvc 2ohm would have to cone them both to dvc 4ohm to get 1 ohm beause 2 of them dvc 2ohm would be 2ohms And this would be my 6th recone, ive done alot of different subs and boxes and hopefully more to come
Fobbe0420
could run the sundown at 2 ohms should be enough The 2 fi-btls together are 4,000 rms The sundown at 1 ohm should do 6,500 so 2 ohms would be???? couldn't be less then 5,000 2ohms on the sundown would be 3,
