that looks sick! can't wait to do mine! hows the the 4th order sound in there and if you don't mind PM me the specs. id be interested to see what ratio you went with and how much room this box takes up. i wanna leave 2-3 feet of my bed for stuff for beach trips or to move small stuff.

you won't have any room with this set up.the batteries and amp are an inch away from the back of the bed.but 2 18s in fourth order i believe would leave you a little more space.

I could even do two 15's. What's your volume of each chamber?

2ft3 per chamber sealed,and 3ft. a piece for ported i believe.

thats the same diagram i went off of.my head is spinning. i might just wire back up to 1.4 i didn't have any problems then.

wire to 1.4 and change your batteries and external reg to run 16.v to get that extra juice out of it. I'm thinking of doing 16v on a 7.5k for the two 18's and just doing a ported box at 16ft^3 tuned to 32hz so it plays well from 29hz to 55 really hard and doesn't drop below -1db all the way till 100hz.

im not into the 16v, i don't have enough experience or knowledge for that. Anyway i was thinking i might have fried one of the voice coils.when i wired down i checked and got a .7 reading,now its at.4 I'm worried my dd1 was acting up when i set the gain,never got a solid red,just a blink,but the manual said this is normal. guess I'm going to open it back up and check each coil.

small update. checked wiring to the subs,and had to make some changes.went for a ride, and at .7 i had no voltage drop,or issues got louder too! I'm so happy it wasn't the coils!
