Anybody Pioneer EQ-6000 experience?

Hey guys, a friend at work gave me this equalizer the other day. I have only found manuals for sale online and I really didn't want to buy the manual if I wasn't going to use the EQ. I have a Alpine cde HD149bt for a head unit which already has a 9 band EQ on it. I read somewhere it can be used as a crossover for a sub woofer if that's the only speaker its controlling? Also was wondering what the D.A.B control is all the way on the left of the device?

Another thing I thought of is how will this affect my input voltage to my amp? My head unit already has 4v per outs.

Its does say on the back - output level 500 mv

If the output level is that low I would make sure to check what the maximum input level it can accept is. 4v may be way too high.

Also in the picture of the back of the unit where the wires are coming out, there is a red wire, a blue wire, and then....a blue wire trimmed to nothing? You may not even be able to hook this unit up without soldering a new lead for whatever that used to go to. Hopefully it is something you do not need.

DAB is Dual Amp Balancer. It is a fancy way of saying fader. Turn it up and the rear volume is reduced, turn it down and the front volume is reduced.
