What amp works with this sub?

I would like to get a SSD12 sub from FI Car audio and am not sure which amp would go good with it.

What ohms are the coils? What is your budget? First 2 question that need to be answered.

Get a dual 2 ohm and buy an amplifier that does 1000w at 1 ohm.

It's a dual 2 ohm and it'd be nice if it was under 500 but no more than 700.. Basically the cheapest high quality one. Yes I know that phrase is very contradicting.

With the sub I mentioned and that amp do you think I'd need to upgrade anything?

Depends on your stock electrical. You have to account for what your car has running, how much current this amp will be pulling, and how much output your alternator has. I would say big 3 at a minimum, and probably an upgraded battery under the hood for good measure. Stock alt should be ok imo

if you're getting these i too agree the big 3 and add an extra battery.
