TRON
Get a dual 2 ohm and buy an amplifier that does 1000w at 1 ohm. Zero_Tolerance_
What ohms are the coils? What is your budget? First 2 question that need to be answered. It's a dual 2 ohm and it'd be nice if it was under 500 but no more than 700.. Basically the cheapest high quality one. Yes I know that phrase is very contradicting. Zero_Tolerance_
You can pick up a DC Audio 1.2k for around $400 With the sub I mentioned and that amp do you think I'd need to upgrade anything?
reedal
Depends on your stock electrical. You have to account for what your car has running, how much current this amp will be pulling, and how much output your alternator has. I would say big 3 at a minimum, and probably an upgraded battery under the hood for good measure. Stock alt should be ok imo SMD Tool Map https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/193176-smd-tool-map-new-november-2014/ Build log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/197217-reeds-03-tahoe-hat-sqaq-singer-xs-shca-cockbox-80prs/?page=
