So I have a question, I drove home today and when I got into the drive way. I could here a slight knock sound from under the car. ( 2001 ford focus 2.0 split port) so I'm looking around and see a open hole in this part of the motor? If there was a plug it most likely fell off. I don't think that will be the cause of the noise you are hearing. If it's worth building, it's worth over building. Sound seems to be from the trans...could be vary wrong lol. Started the car back up and the sound was gone. Looks like a trans flush is in need.
