I have a blown Fi Q18 i have tore down. Im am stuck in a decision. Im thinking of either buying a 18" ti basket and mounting on my motor, or possibly finding a 21" basket. The recone for either decision will be built by SplAudio dean. Would the ti basket 18 or another brand 21 basket be better?

You're literally asking if an 18 or a 21 is better.... That's absolute preference. Do you have the room for a 21? Were you happy with the 18? Nobody can tell you if the 18 recone, or swapping to a 21 is going to be better for you.

^This. You're not comparing baskets here, you're comparing sub sizes. Do you have space for a 21"? And parts are pretty limited on those, many more options on the 18". Decide the size first.

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.
