Now you have my attention lol. I would also like to upgrade from the Hifonics and upon getting a second 15, I need around 2k RMS. Will this amp take a .5ohm load? $300 for a Crescendo with that kind of RMS is even better than the CT I was looking at.... Very impressive power @1ohm, way over rated! That little amp packs one helll of a punch! If it is .5ohm stable, I would consider one of these for my two PB 3XL's. Uriahia Posted September 29, 2014 Author Report Posted September 29, 2014 I just tried unhookin the RCA's and the Subs(the subs are wired correctly) its gotta be the the remote wire terminal on the amp if I unhook the remote wire its jumps out of protect then back into protect(tried it 3 times got same results)......... we hooked my brothers Hifonics Gladiator up it comes on with no problem.

My final impedance will be either 2 or .5 ohm once I get the second 15.... They're 2 ohm DVC subs. Like you say, a 1ohm load would be great but since that isn't happening, gotta try and find a nice 2k that is .5ohm stable. Almost worth adding two more 15's instead to get my load at 1.33. Didn't think of going with a 2ohm load though, I always was under the impression that amps were less efficient and got hotter @ 2ohms? Maybe I am mistaken....
