nathanb5533
The other day i was listening to my music in my car, and the music stopped playing and my sub went full excursion then back to normal, no smoke from amp or subwoofer, and then i did a full search and all fuses were fine all wires connected. the next day i turned it back on to test it and when i turned my receiver on my subwoofer was pulsing. if i stay on a channel or if i changed it to an output, aux, bluetooth, radio, etc. and while changing the channel it would make a really weird sound, so i went to the back of my car and looked at the connections and everything was fine, and when i unplugged my rca cables and it stopped, so i put in a new rca and it still pulsed, so i thought maybe it was ground loop so i moved the ground and it still doing it, so then i thought that my receiver has three outputs front rear and subwoofer i would try front output and test it on my mid range speaker with my 2 channel full range amp and it was working but was a little scratchy could my subwoofer pre amp be bad. 2006 Pontiac G6 3.5L Pioneer AVH-X5800BHS DVD Receiver Singer 320 amp alternator Crescendo audio hp120 battery Crescendo audio bc3500d Crescendo audio s550/2 Crescendo audio s1100/2 2 Sundown audio zv5 12 Rockford Fosgate 440-4D 5 cubic foot octoport tuned to 35 hz 4 crescendo audio pwx 8s 2 crescendo audio pwx 6.5 4 crescendo audio ft1 super tweeters 2 crescendo audio Symphony coaxial 6x9

SIDE SHOW
it might just get rid of that noise your complaining about lol... what model brand headunit is it, how many amps are you running? how many rca's have been run? have they been run next to the power cable? have you tried connecting a mp3 player/phone straight to the amp? from the sounds of it since you moved some of the wiring behind the deck it's rattled something loose or is getting interference from something
SIDE SHOW
I found that when I was using my usb interface with my pioneer dehp5950ib my sub started doing weird things (pulsing as you call it) I reset the usb interface and headunit and it fixed the problem. (it usually the first thing i'd try with most headunit issues/faults)

SIDE SHOW
I understand that.... does it still make the noise when you plug your phone straight into the amp bypassing the headunit? and rca's?
