keith Posted October 21, 2014 Report Share Posted October 21, 2014 Hi i am buying a soundqubed hds200 d4 12, and i was wondering if amnyone has ever used this sub in a box with 3.0 or better for box size. i have a choice of two different boxes 1.air volume 3.0 cubic feet, port volume .40 cuibic feet. 2. air volume 2.09 cubic feet, port volume .51 cubic feet both are before sub displacement, and are horn ported, any help would be appreciated thanks. Joe X Posted October 21, 2014 Report Share Posted October 21, 2014 Those can work on 2.5 net (after displacements) and about 35-40 square inches of port area, tuning around 34-38 for daily depending on the application.
