keith Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Hi i am buying a soundqubed hds200 d4 12, and i was wondering if amnyone has ever used this sub in a box with 3.0 or better for box size. i have a choice of two different boxes 1.air volume 3.0 cubic feet, port volume .40 cuibic feet. 2. air volume 2.09 cubic feet, port volume .51 cubic feet both are before sub displacement, and are horn ported, any help would be appreciated thanks.

Joe X Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Those can work on 2.5 net (after displacements) and about 35-40 square inches of port area, tuning around 34-38 for daily depending on the application. This is for use on around rated power. If you would like further help, let me know.
keith Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Posted October 21, 2014 thanks i really appreciate it i am thinking about going with a t line with about 2.22 net before displacement or the 2.09 horn ported enclosure metiooned above do you think that either one of those would work.
