Patrick Saxon Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 New to the forum and just lookin for info on silverado builds i plan to run 2 dc lvl 4 12s with my sundown saz1500d. Under back seat is not an option as extra battery and amps are under there. i have no center seat or console in front as it is missing so i have middle space in between bucket seats open already have a single lvl 4 in a downfire box and it fits nicely so thinking of going with a longer box in middle from dash to back seat eliminating foot room for a middle rear passnger or should i go with a box on back floor space in front of seat eliminating all rear foot room

Plus I'm sure those subs like ported better and you won't fit a box that big under the seats. Patrick Saxon Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Posted October 21, 2014 how would i go abouts this then the one sub is in a ported downfire made by local shop it almost looks like enough space in between dash and front of back seat to make a longer box to accomidate 2 12s i dont know about the downfire rattles the shit out of hole truck if i stand the box or flip it and fire it up or foward its way cleaner but less bass as far as a fifteen a big ported box on the back seat is the only way really with out walling it out

Patrick Saxon Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Posted October 21, 2014 my box is 13" wide and 24" long i plan to make the same width but 27-28 inches long but taller to acomidate airspace with subs facing up and port up next question is areo port or slot how will faceing everything up affect my bass the slot port is in rear of box facing down and starts 1" behind back of seat .should the port be in the front cab or rear cab
