So I picked up 2 15" fosgate hx2s what box design would these perform best in sealed, aeroport, vented any and all input greatly appreciated and just for in they are going in a 2000 eclipse.

Ported box, 2.75-3cuft. If power 500-1k watts if punch 250-500 watts.

One thing to remember is that its an old speaker. I'm sure the suspension isn't as stiff as it once was. A smaller box will help with cone control. Port area should be somewhere around 30-35" per but I could be wrong there.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

They are the standard hx2 punch series and thats what I was thinking im also gonna send them.out to get rebuilt I was quoted 130 a sub which I think is reasonable and thinking if the bix I had 4 12s in was 4.50 cuft vented tuned to 32hrz do you think this would be suitable for these and also gonna be putting 800 rms to them thanks for the quick responce

800 total right?

A box that is 4.5cuft net would only be 2.25 per. Would be small for them. Specially if the recone is done with quality parts. If done right you can go with a bigger box to be more efficient.

I would do a box 3-3.5 cuft.
