i just bought 2 ground zero gzhw 30x subwoofers with a ground zero gzha 2350xii amp

and a phoenix gold sd800.4 for the speakers.

the subwoofers are

Diameter: 30 cm / 12"
Power handling: 800 WRMS
Impedance: 2 x 2 Ohm
Voice coil: 63 mm / 2.5" aluminum
Excursion: X max. 22 mm / 0.9"
Resonance Frequency: FS 23,5 Hz
SPL 2.83 V/m: 86 dB
the specs of the amp are
Output Power @ 4 Ohm 2 x 260 W RMS
Output Power @ 2 Ohm 2 x 470 W RMS
Output Power @ 1 Ohm 2 x 740 W RMS
Bridge mode @ 4 Ohm 1 x 1140 W RMS
Bridge mode @ 2 Ohm 1 x 1800 W RMS
is there someone who could design me a nice box for this setup?
2010 ford focus turnier facelift
The dimensions are 45cm high. 110cm with and 80cm depth
thanks

So here is couple of suggestions:

Power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 11.5 cm, figure is just an assembly guide:

thx Joe

i really like the second one :good:

are the reinforcement pole's nessecary? if so what can i use for it?

does the l port needs to be angled?

sorry if this are stupid questions but this will be the first time i make a slotted box

Use 1 1/4" (whatever you can find around that in metric units) wooden dowel rods, 45s are not necessary but round any sharp inner edges at the turn and at both ends.

Make sure you can get 18mm thick wood, if it's not available then I would need to fix the cutsheet a bit to adapt for a different thickness, I wouldn't recommend any less than 18mm so if not available then better get thicker wood.

18mm mdf is not a problem to get. i have plenty of shops nearby that sels wood :good:

by the way; whats the best way to put the box together step by step ?

He could but if those are recommended for a little larger airspace I would give it if he has the space.
